Modifying the Driving Environment
This section explains some of the steps low vision drivers can take to improve their driving environment. Simple modifications to a driver's environment can bring very positive results. These may include selecting the right car to drive, adding additional mirrors, tinting windows, adding the appropriate GPS, using matte cloths to reduce glare on the dash and keeping the windshield clean.
