Montana Bioptic Laws

Bioptics are permitted for driving and to pass the licensure test.

• Visual Acuity: 20/40 in the better eye, with or without corrective lenses.  
• 20/40 to 20/70 in the better eye with restrictions on daylight and speed.  
• 20/100 in the better eye: possible restricted license if need is shown.
• Visual Field: No requirements listed.
